Oliver has been doing cardistry since 2008 and is a key figure in the niche community.

He was first introduced to the creative qualities of playing cards when he saw a card trick at school. Technicality and creativity was of primary interest to him, so cardistry quickly established itself as his ideal art form.

After meeting similarly passionate peers, he began gaining international recognition as part of the Scandinavian movement around 2012. Their minimal approach and expressive style reinvigorated a spark in the community, and significantly impacted the overall direction of the art form.

In the years following, Oliver furthered his influence by creating moves, publishing learning resources, and organizing events. He also began exploring business opportunities as a logical path towards continued devotion and exploration of the art form.

In 2014 he launched dealersgrip — a cardistry focused playing card company through which he has collaborated with artists, cardists, designers and entities from around the world. This has been his primary focus since 2016.
